Not too bad of a day today.... we worked independantly on lesson 6 in our Math Operations unit - DECIMAL SUBTRACTION- and corrected the lesson 5 homework due today from yesterday. Tonight your homework in Math is to complete the lesson 6 worksheet - both sides- and make sure you are using the 5 steps or IDEAL for EACH QUESTION on the back!
In Science almost all of you had a chance to go outside and measure a shadow of a pole today (as part of our SLO #5 in our Sky Science unit) and I'm looking forward to compiling the results as a class tomorrow and discussing our findings! Don't forget to finish reading that little booklet I gave you in class today and to fill in all the blanks as well for tomorrow in class.
Also in Science you need to be going outside at night and working on the 3 sheets in your sky detective folder and please post your observations on the blog as a comment.
Finally in PE, we are starting our dance unit tomorrow and remember to come with a positive attitude because everyone must participate and we want to have a nice time before the holidays.

i saw the lunar eclipoes so cool. but to watch it me and my dad had t obundell up and sit out side for 3 hours wathching it but it was worth waiting out in the cold. we had a perfect view to and i could watch it out my bed room window! i watched the last halve hour in my bedroom because i thought i was getting hypothermia. but i didnt nor my dad! by:)

I was in California during the lunar eclipse but it was raining so I couldn't see it. It would have been cool to see because the moon looks bigger here. I think that the moon looks bigger because it's closer to the equator but my dad says it's an illusion . Which is it ? Merry Christmas.
