What a great day we all had! You guys worked hard today and we are getting closer to acheiving our team goal of less noise, interruption and useless chatter and more focus in class. I'm pleased and definitely a PROUD school mom of all of my 6A/B kids!!!!

In Math today we finished and corrected our lesson 9 on rounding and if you didn't get a chance to finish than please make sure you do! Your homework tonight is to review the brainpop video on rounding (see below) and try the quiz! Leave me a comment and tell me what you scored. Also remember to make your corrections on the Math test and get it signed by a parent and put it in the hand in bin in the classroom. Finally, if you haven't handed in the fish word problem using the 5 steps yet, you need to do that too!

In Science we focused on our SLO #3 today - CYCLES AND THE IMPORTANT ROLE TREES AND THE FOREST PLAY IN EACH. Your homework is to review our crazy notes and make sure you have THOUGHTFULLY answered the 3 questions I gave you in class. Here they are again:

• What is the role of the tree in the nutrient cycle?
• What is the role of the tree in the water cycle?
• What is the role of the tree in the oxygen cycle?

I will be asking some of you to share your responses to these in class so please be prepared. Continue to review all your notes as well for the test on Fiday and yes, it is for sure on Friday!
