Hi kids!

It was so great to see you all even though it was only a quick visit! I would have liked to stay longer and hug you all but I still wasn't feeling totally healed from the c-section. That is crazy by the way! It is considered to be major surgery and in case you don't know what that means, it's when they cut you open to get the baby out. The cut they make is about 8 inches long and I was awake for the whole thing! They gave me a spinal so that I was basically dead numb from the chest down and so it didn't hurt but I could feel them doing stuff in there. My husband sat right beside me and at one point said he looked over and the doctor had parts of my insides out on my stomach to be able to get to the baby! YIKES!!! I guess that's why it is considered major surgery and why it takes so long to recover! I had several inner layers of stitches and 15 staples on the outside but the staples are out now.
Thanks again for your interest and wishes! I love you!

Here's the scoop in case you haven't heard ...

I gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL baby girl and we named her Marisol pronounced MAH-REE-SOUL, with the stress or emphasis on the last syllable -sol. She was born on June 12th at 9:39pm. I went through 20 hours of labor, including 2 hours of pushing, and then had to have a c-section because she was too big! She was 9lbs 13oz and 22inches long. She has lots of thick dark hair and beautiful big blue eyes and of course I LOVE her so much! I have to be honest...child birth is definitely the HARDEST thing I've ever done but definitely worth it all! Everyone is healthy and happy but tired for sure and things are great! If you want to see pictures of her go to www.litwinphotography.com , click on enter this site, click on clients and enter the password marisol. Let me know what you think and how your summer is going so far! I really missed you guys!!!! Hope your report cards and exams
were great!

Love always,
Mrs. V
