Variables are any material that you change in any experiment that changes or dosent.

Controlled variable=doesn`t change
manipulated variable=changes

oopsys. an example of this is the experiment we saw where the guy tried to find out how much water each type of soil would absorb. the type of soil is manipultated and the amounts are controlled.

say it were doing the expirement let it shine when you blow the can the candle went out but if you used a bigger or smaller can it wouldn't blow out or it would go over top of the can so the size of can would be a variabkle.

a variable is where you do a test but after you change one thing and do the test again. Like when we did hair dryer ping pong if you tilt the hair dryer to far to the left or right the ball fall's.

Hey Mrs.V
My answer is A variable is something that amy be changed or manipulated during an experiment. An example would be testing what shape is the strongest, so you keep everything the same but only change one thing- the shape!

See you tomorow

it is when all of the other things are the same and an example would be like if you were testing how much sugar is in different types of soda you would use the same amount of the fluid but change the type of soda

A variable is something you use in an experiment:Ex when the girl in the bill nye video used the card and the glasses of water and food coloring those are all variables.

when you do an experiment, you use certin materials. if you change one or two of them, that is your variable.
