Hey kids! Today was a fun day, I thought, and I had a really great time teaching you all! You really are settling in and becoming more mature, responsible and efficient! Hooray!!!!!

HOMEWORK:
  • Math: Operations test tomorrow (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with and without decimals)...no calculators allowed!
  • Science: First, do the tap demo and complete the WRITE-UP THOROUGHLY & THOUGHTFULLY right on the hand-out. Second, try one of the 3 Bill Nye demos we've discussed in class and post on the blog! Don't be afraid to play around with variables too! Third, review your notes on FLUIDS...(write, say, do).

REMINDERS:

  • scholastic orders?
  • wear pink/red tomorrow!
  • badminton try-outs...tomorrow? (no one in the office got back to me!)
  • hot-dog sale tomorrow...yummy!
  • last chance for high school submissions for school team name and colors
  • FRIDAY is the LOG-HOUSE GALA ...sounds fun! Also it's the ROCK STAR TAG event at the Public Library @3pm

BLOG ANSWER:

  • thanks for your efforts and comments yesterday! Check out what your classmates had to say... feb 23 archive

BLOG QUESTION:

  • What Bill Nye demo did you try this time? Did it work? Did you manipulate/change any VARIABLES?...what happened when you did?
