WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY! HOPE YOU WERE ABLE TO GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE SUNSHINE AND FRESH AIR!
REMEMBER THAT I AM AWAY TOMORROW (MONDAY) FOR BABY APPOINTMENTS BUT I'LL BE BACK TUESDAY...BE SURE TO MAKE MR. MEYER'S DAY BY BEING GREAT CLASSES AND GETTING LOTS DONE! Also remember the consequence for being a pain while I'm gone...

HOMEWORK:
  • Math: lesson 11 should be all done and marked...starting lesson 12 division Monday
  • Science: planet cards due to hand in Monday!

REMINDERS:

  • 3 days of bball club this week... Tues @ 3:30 - 4:45pm, Wed @ 7:30am, Thurs @ 3:30 - 4:45pm
  • spelling bee in advisor on Monday... you'll need a pencil!

BLOG ANSWER:

  • The inner planets are closest to the sun and the are small & rocky. The inner planets are inside the asteriod belt.The outer planets are far away from the sun and they are Gas Giants. The outer planets are outside the asteriod belt.
  • I think Pluto is not considered a planet anymore because it is soooooooooooo tiny and sooooooooooooo far away. And, if it was considered a planet it would be an outer one and it's REALLY different from the other outer planets.

  • When doing multiplication with decimals, how do you know how many decimal places to put in your answer?

you count how many places after the decimal then if it was say 3 you would put it three spaces after the decimals.

Hi Mrs.V! I think you count all the decimal places after the decimal & write that in.

Ex:
211.7
x 8.9 PRETEND the answer
was 12.90. There are
2 #'s after the
decimal in the
question & 2 in
the answer.
