BLOG Answer from yesterday:
What is the rule that quickly tells us if a number is divisible by 3?
Is 25 074 divisible by 3?
- a number is divisible by 3 if the SUM of its digits is divisible by 3
- 25 074 IS divisible by 3 (2+5+0+7+4 =18 and 18 is divisible by 3)
BLOG Q & A from STUDENT PARKING LOT:
- What is the Kuiper Belt?
The Kuiper belt is a ring of icy debris orbiting the sun from beyond Neptune, including Pluto, Pluto's moons, Orcus, Quaroar and Veruna! And even beyond that is the "scattered disc" full of rejects from the Kuiper belt! Oh and don't forget the Oort cloud...even beyond that! (check out the brainpop on the OUTER SOLAR SYSTEM!)
- Can people live in Andromeda or an outer planet?
We could not live on an outer planet. As far as andromeda goes...we certainly couldn't live on a star but it is sort of the same answer as if we could live on an exoplanet...which would be another body like a moon or planet but in a different galaxy...as long as it had the right temperature, it had water in liquid form and air for us to breathe then most likely!
- Can you live on an exoplanet?
Earth is the only planet we know of with life on it! Nothing else is well suited for complex life...it's either too hot, too cold, no air to breathe, no water...Exoplanets are planets beyond our Solar System and we've found them but they are very hard to see because they are so far away and there are too many stars with lots of light in the way. We are still trying to answer this question but who knows...maybe!(check out the brainpop on EXOPLANETS!)
BLOG QUESTION:
- What is at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy? What is the "galactic bulge"?

Hey great Halle...you forgot to answer the Q's though!!!!
See you tomorrow!
i think in the middle is galctic bulge but i'm not sure and i'll check what it is.
well it doesn't say what a galactic bulge is but i checked. see you tomorrow.
Hi Mrs.V!
The center of the Milky Way is the galactic buldge. No one really knows what it is but some people think it's a black hole.
See you on Monday cause I'm not going to be at school 2morrow.

Hey Mrs.V

I hope not!

tat the center of the milky way is the galactic bulge and i don't know what that is
hi look ive got a blog
A large cluster of stars
Hey i am looking at you right now see ya on monday
Love Tasha
Hey Mrs.V
In the center of the milky way galaxy coincides with the source marked Sag A (or sagittarius A)
which is actually three sources, a yound supernova remnant on the east side, an unusuall ionized hydrogen region on the west side, and a very compact source called Sagittarius A* at the very center.
As you go closer to the center of the milky way, the distribution of stars becomes vertically thicker. This is not an actual thickening of the disc, but rather a sign of a different component of the galaxy - the galactic bulge.
See you on Monday

Hi Mrs.V!
Just seeing if you posted a question. I'll check later.
See you Monday.
