BLOG ANSWER:
Let's say you go outside tonight and see the moon in its waning crescent phase. What moon phase will you see in approximately 10-11 days?
Explain how you know this!
- Considering the moon goes from one phase to another every 3 1/2 days or so, it would be the first quarter in 10-11 days. I know this because in 10-11 days the moon would pass through 3 phases (3.5 x 3 = 10.5) and three phases from the waning crescent is ... new... wax crst... 1st quarter!
