HOMEWORK:
- Math: finish lesson 15...division with decimals...and GREAT work on this so far by the way!
- Science: nothing unless you want to try the demos at home that we did in class today!
- OTHER: get paper and pencils!!! (Richard, James, Geronimo, Nathan, Dillon!)
REMINDERS:
- Scholastic orders?
- BOARD GAME BLITZ tomorrow @ public library!
- club bball Monday @ 7:30am!
BLOG ANSWER:
- air takes up space, reacts to temperature, is made of gases (that we need to breathe and that fire needs to burn), air has mass, weight and density, moving air exerts pressure, air can do work...just to name a few!
- 8.253 (3 goes on forever and ever and ever)
- GREAT ANSWERS GUYS! And way to go Dill... : )
BLOG QUESTION:
- How did the DIVING PAPER demo today prove our first two principles of AIR...that air takes up space and that air exerts pressure? (HINT: you should use those principles in your explanation!)

i cant remember what that one was
Ummm well it proved air took up space because yuo put the cup in the water but water never got in the cup because air was blocking it out and i don't rember the other one.
Can't wait till tomorrow and i wounldn't be there tomorrow exept during the friday entertainment.
it takes up space because the inside of the cup stayed dry and it exerts pressure from not letting water in. GTG bye

it takes up space because the cup didn't get wet
hi mrs. v
the air in the cup took up space, so that meant the paper doesn't get wet, because all the space is taken up and the water can't get in.

Hey Mrs.V
It proved air takes up space because you put the cup under water and the paper didn't even get wet because aie was blocking the water out and it exerts pressure form not letting the water in.
See you tomorrow

Hi Mrs.V!
The Diving Paper proved air takes up space because before you put the cup in the water air goes in the cup, so when you put the cup underwater, the paper doesn't get wet because the air is there. And I'm not really sure about exerts pressure.
See you tomorrow!!!!!

P.S. I think I get the decimal divison now! :):):)
