- Are you taking part in the pumpkin carving event in the gym on Tuesday and Wednesday at noon? Do you have your stuff organised? You will want to be ready to go by Tuesday...

Hi Mrs.V! The Ten parts of the tree are Leaves, Branches, Crown, Trunk, Roots, Heartwood, Xylem, Cambium, Phloem and Bark. Each one does:
Leaves~Produce food through photosynthisis
Branches~Support fruit and leaves
Crown~Top of tree,made up of branches and leaves.
Trunk~Supports the tree.
Roots~Anchor the tree.
Heartwood~strenghens the tree.
Xylem~Carries water up through the tree.
